A Day With Our Dancers

As a brand we like to celebrate our community, so we reached out to you on Instagram to be part of our campaign and invited you to Move Dance HQ to take part in our first dancer community shoot. We had hundreds of entries and we loved getting to know our wonderful dancers! We got the dancers to pick their favourite outfits which will make them feel confident and ready to head back into the studio this year. The content and images we created are so special we love sharing the spotlight on our customers, keep reading to find out how it went…

We started the day with an icebreaker exercise where we asked the dancers to introduce themselves and tell us a fun fact about themselves. After this we let the dancers choose three outfits from the products we pulled for them, we loved seeing how the dancers styled the looks! For the first looks we did some individual shots then followed by some group images. Once the dancers had changed into their second look we went into some video content, this was when we really got to see the dancers move and they were amazing. We asked each dancer to choose their favourite trick or dance move and it’s safe to say they definitely impressed! For the third and final look we did some interview based video content where we asked the dancers their dance 2025 goals and what Move Dance means to them, here's what they said.

Meet Millie

• Age: 20
• Favourite dance genre: Lyrical and jazz
• Fun fact about myself: I’ve been dancing since my 3rd birthday and I’m obsessed with Leonardo DiCaprio
• 2025 dance goal: To get booked by an agent and get a cruise ship contract

Meet Arwen

• Age: 19
• Favourite dance genre: Tap
• Fun fact: I own 9 pairs of tap shoes and I can drum and tap at the same time
• 2025 dance goals:
• Graduate with a first for my BA(Hons) in Dance & Dram
• Get signed with an agent
• Get 5 clean pirouettes

Meet Amelia

• Age: 17
• Fun Fact: DWC Ballet World Champion
• 2025 dance goals: Get 20 clean fouettés on pointe

Meet Liv

• Age - 20
• Favourite dance genre- jazz and commercial
• Fun fact about myself- I used to compete in figure skating
• 2025 dance goals- perform at the Brit awards and graduate from my dance degree with a 1st class.

We absolutely loved working on our first customer campaign and getting to know some of the dancers in our community. We hope you love it as much as we do!
